Planet Conquering is another way of expanding territory in Space Empires: Battle For Supremacy. Conquered planets can be used as outposts and staging grounds for attacking and for producing resources. Only planets labelled as “Conquerable” can be conquered by players. As such, players who conquer planets implicitly allow their conquered planets to be conquerable.
If a player has an Espionage Tactics Center of at least Level 5, they can send Probes to search for conquerable planets.
To conquer a planet, a player must first wipe out any stationed fleets and disable all defensive structures on the ground of the conquerable planet. Afterwards, they should send in the Conqueror Ship, a new class of ship which can take over conquerable planets, which will reduce the levels of defensive structures by 75% and all other structures by 50%.
A newly conquered planet is protected from any attack for three (3) days. During this time, the build time for all structures will be reduced by 50%. After this period, the build time will revert back to 100%.
Planets obtained through colonization cannot be conquered by other players.
Requirements
Conquering Technology
Conquering Technology is a tech research necessary for increasing the number of colonies which can be conquered. Each level of this technology is a requirement for increasing the number of planets that can be conquered. With the max level of 20, a player can have a maximum of twenty (20) conquered planets.
Conqueror Ship
The Conqueror Ship is a massive vessel which has been developed solely for conquering enemy planets. Armed with bombardment weapons as well as advanced terraforming generators to make devastated planets ready for expansion. It is a new class of warship necessary for obtaining conquerable planets.
Conqueror Ships are built in the Shipyard. The requirements for building the Conqueror Ship are as follows:
- 500,000 Sigil
- 2,000,000 of each Resource (Metal, Gas and Crystal)
- Cryogenics x1 – Acquired by requesting from players.
