Colonization

In this section

In Space Empires: Battle for Supremacy, players can expand their dominion by colonizing uninhabited planets. By getting more colonies, they can extract from the planet’s resources so they can research more technologies, construct more ships and build more structures. A player can colonize planets if they have Colony Ships. Players get their first Colony Ship by completing the Beginner Quests.

Once they have acquired a Colony Ship, they can go to the Galaxy Map to locate an unknown and/or uninhabited planet and click on the “Colonize” button to send in their Colony Ship. Once the planet has been colonized, they will be able to choose a name for the planet and begin construction of structures immediately. Players will not be able to colonize currently inhabited planets.

Colony Ships

There are two ways of getting additional colony ships:

  • Players can purchase the Colony Ship part from the Galactic Market
  • Players can build the Colony Ship using various ship parts acquired through different means

Building a Colony Ship

Players can build the Colony Ship at the Colony Ship tab under the “Fleet Management” section. In order to build one, they need to research the required level of “Colonization Technology” and collect the necessary Colony Ship parts.

As they acquire more planets, the necessary Colonization Technology level and the number of parts that they need to collect goes up. Players can only have 1 Colony Ship at a time — each Colony Ship must be deployed to colonize another planet before a new one can be built. Parts can be acquired by helping other players build or research faster, posting wall posts to request for specific parts, receiving them from other players as gifts and sending out probes on exploration missions.

Colony Ship Parts

Here is the list of Colony Ship Parts and how players can acquire them.

Cryogenics

This part is acquired when a player clicks on Help Request wall posts. Help Requests are wall feed posts by players requesting help in speeding up structure construction, ship construction and technology research from other players.

Players need to click on a specific amount of help requests in order to get one Cryogenics part. The number of required help request clicks goes up as the player gets more planets. The player must also accomplish the specified number of request clicks in a day as the request click count will reset on the next day.

Expansion Culture

This part can be acquired as a reward for constantly returning to the game. Players don’t need to log in for consecutive days; they simply need to accumulate the required number of days. The number of days the player needs to return to the game to receive this part goes up as the number of planets the player wants to colonize increases. The Expansion Culture can also be acquired by purchasing it from the Galactic Market.
